On May 1st at 10:23 AM PDT the Moon opposes the Sun exactly, creating the Full Moon. The Sun is stationed at 11 degrees Taurus 21 minutes, and the Moon is at 11 degrees Scorpio 21 minutes. This is the first Full Moon of May, and will be followed by a second one on May 31st! That’s the “Blue Moon”, the second one in one calendar month.

Every year the Full Moon in Scorpio is celebrated as Vesak, also known as Wesak. It’s considered the most sacred day to millions of Buddhists all over the world, as in the year 623 B.C., with the Full Moon in Scorpio, the Buddha was born. This makes him a Taurus with a Scorpio Moon. On this day people honor Him through giving to charity, visiting monasteries and temples, and there are feasts but no meat is eaten. People celebrate the teachings, the lessons that this great sage embodied.

The Moon was new in Scorpio November 19th of 2025. At that time plans and goals were being made and defined to bring about a movement forward regarding all things ruled by this sign. It is a Fixed Water sign, very deep and mysterious. Goals may have been set to go deeper, spiritually speaking, or the flip side; a more fulfilled sex life. Scorpio turf includes death and rebirth, inheritance, shared values, and the occult. It is ruled by Pluto, the transformer, so at this time deep conscious thinking and feeling were prodding us to explore what is hidden; out of sight.

Now with the Moon being Full in Scorpio, the consequences of our plans and actions are here to show us how far we’ve come. The Taurus/Scorpio axis is my values vs. our values. Did you remember to include others in your hopes and dreams when the Moon was New? Not likely, as it is a very sovereign sign that is concerned with power and financial independence. Yet, it represents “we” in the zodiac, so finding this emotional Water Sign trusting enough to include others is important. That is the crucible, the challenge that brings transformation.

Interestingly, the Sun and Moon are both squared by Pluto at 5 degrees Aquarius, creating a T-Square. The planet at the "tip" of the T that receives both squares acts as a "pressure valve" or release point for the built-up energy, indicating where you must focus to manage the unease. This high tension aspect focuses on Pluto. As the Sun (ego/identity) and Moon (emotions/needs) oppose each other; Pluto (transformation/power) acts as the apex planet, forcing intense shadow work and the need to transform, often creating "before and after" life turning points. With Pluto in the sign of Aquarius, transformation comes to the family of humans through shared wisdom, charity and group activities, and humanitarian efforts. Friends and colleagues become family members, as we bond together with shared interests and objectives. We have a need to unite, to share our common goals. With open arms we can accomplish more, and it’s way more fun;)

Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune all have positive aspects with Pluto. Venus trines Pluto, helping us to love deeply, passionately, and wholeheartedly. Saturn sextiles Pluto reminding us we are capable of overcoming tremendous odds, and of enormous self-discipline and focus. Uranus trines Pluto adding an opportunity to be part of efforts that introduces a great deal of reform, most of which will be positive and constructive. And, with Neptune sextile Pluto, there are tremendous opportunities for spiritual rebirth and awakening, coming from an inner yearning and a natural propensity to seek deeper truths.

So on this special occasion, Pluto shares the spotlight, and transformation is at hand for all of our world. It is up to us to do our part, to seek peace and freedom for all of humanity. It begins with the self.

On April 17th at 4:51 AM PDT the Sun and Moon align at 27 degrees Aries 29 minutes. The New Year of intentions has begun. It is time to set up what is to become of you!

Aries is the beginning, the sign that initiates the zodiac. It is a Cardinal Fire Sign, very potent and strong. Cardinal, as this is the sign that begins Spring; the season of the Sun’s return to assist in growth of all kinds. The Fire element burns away the past, and alerts us that we have the potential to create what it is we wish to create. There may have been old goals along the way that no longer serve us in these current times that we can now shed. As we update our ambitions we light the candle that lights the fire that burns with desire to accomplish that which we set out to do.

Besides the Sun and the Moon, there is a stellium of planets in this sign. Accompanying  these luminaries are the planets Mercury, Mars, Saturn and Neptune. Also there is an exact conjunction to Chiron. This cluster of planetary influence provides a wide spectrum for the Aries energies to assist us. When Mercury is in Aries we tend to be outspoken and direct, and eager to express our ideas and opinions. We don't mind opposing the consensus and stirring up a little controversy. It’s time for fresh, original ideas, and enthusiasm for anything new and untried.

Mars in the sign of Aries is exalted, as Mars rules Aries and is its best placement. We have a warrior's attitude - decisive, courageous, and bold. Now we are unable to tolerate being passive or even patient about getting what we want. You may feel that it is up to you to take the initiative and go after your goal or desire very aggressively. The job of this planet is to charge and clear our Crown chakra in order to open the gateway between ourselves and the divine. This awakening of our true self cancels out the fear of what is to be. Work with these energies and set your goals around living by your own design.

Saturn and Neptune began their transit of Aries this year, leaving behind the Water sign of Pisces (last sign of the zodiac) entering the Fire sign of beginnings. This monumental change, (Uranus 1/27/26, Saturn 2/14/26) takes us to a reset. No longer in review mode with Pisces, revisiting endings and the skeletons in the closet, now we cross the threshold to a new way. Saturn in Aries combines the energies of serious work and taking action. Once the old debris of the past is clear, this planet tells us to put our nose to the grindstone and build our future. Developing self-confidence, courage, and faith in ourselves comes with working toward our goals.

Neptune in Aries inspires us to ask questions about other long-held ideals of society and to seek alternative ideals, hopes, and aspirations. It points us to seeking Spirit within us, and to KNOW we are much more than we’ve been led to believe. Neptune is the dreamer, and Aries is the self. Together they set the course for the new dream. With faith and belief in ourselves we are creators of all we have to share with this world, whatever that may be.

And lastly, Chiron known as the Wounded Healer, (a minor planetoid, comet) joins the Sun and Moon in this quest. Old issues around leadership, self trust, and accomplishing initiatives may spring up. They are begging for renewal, for a new faith in ourselves that takes us to new heights. This truly is a grand opportunity to reset ourselves, to recreate the vision for our future unafraid. To walk hand in hand with our higher self blazing new trails.

Be inspired. Be fearless. Recreate our world by recreating yourself from the inside out.

On April 1st at 7:12 PM PDT the Moon is Full in Libra. The Sun is stationed at 12 degrees Aries 21 minutes, and the Moon opposes it at 12 degrees Libra 21 minutes. This is our first Full Moon of Spring, and with it comes the beauty of the season.

This Full Moon is ruled by the planet Venus, the Goddess of love and beauty, and the creative force. The Sun in Aries is ruled by Mars, the God of war, military and the destructive force. This moment of the Sun/Moon opposition brings up the balance within our own souls. Aries is the sign of the “self” while Libra includes “others.” The Yin and Yang teach us there are lessons in opposites, driving constant change and balance.

On each Full Moon we look to when the Moon was New, to see what we were wishing for, working towards in order to seek harmony with others. It happened on October 21, 2025. Being a Cardinal Air sign, the mental wheels were spinning in our heads, directing action and creation. This is a leader sign, but tends to be “one for all and all for one” in their behavior. The Air element brings a curiosity leading to wisdom in whatever field, usually artistic or musical, that they participate in. Well, how far have you come? Again, Libra is the sign of balance, justice, and fairness. Now is the time to look at your own balance, to see where you have succeeded in your quest to stabilize your own sovereignty while joining in with others for the greatest accomplishments that take more than one.

On this occasion the Sun and Moon opposition forms a T-Square to Jupiter at 15 degrees Cancer. A T Square is just what it looks like, and the planet at the bottom of the T is Jupiter. It is said to “act like a pressure cooker driving intense motivation, ambition, and potential for achievement, while causing inner friction and personal growth through navigating conflict.” This is the focal planet that strikes the tone for harmony, once navigating these difficult aspects. Jupiter in Cancer wants to make others feel accepted and comfortable, breaking down feelings of alienation to make others feel included and a part of group activities. While the Sun and Moon struggle with what is mine is yours, this planet encourages us to share, yet keep enough time for ourselves to satisfy our needs. When Jupiter squares the Sun we tend to exaggerate, to promise more than is possible, and to misjudge through over-optimism. When it squares the Moon this aspect often drives people to seek growth through emotional experiences, though it can lead to over commitment, restlessness, or unrealistic optimism. Thank you Jupiter for leveling the playing field with a desire to nurture and calm the waters.

The Full Moon opposes Saturn at 5 degrees Aries, conjunct the Sun. This makes for a very sensitive, reserved and cautious attitude. Saturn is like Grandfather, set in his ways and knows what’s best. Emotionally speaking, when the Patriarch serves up guidance that may be difficult, it is always for our own good. Father Time here is asking us to be mature, serious, and self-disciplined and to take care of our responsibilities. It’s not a time for procrastinating, do the work and make your life more rewarding. The energies are encouraging us all to take a stand for what’s right for us, and for others. Do your part to serve humanity while loving and caring for yourself:)
