On March 20th at 2:01 AM PDT we have the first moment of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, and Winter in the Southern Hemisphere! On this occasion, we have many positive aspects to the Sun at 0 degrees Aries.

To begin with, the Sun is surrounded, or “conjoined” to the planets Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Neptune. They are here to point the way for us to grow and begin again in this Solar New Year.

Mercury at 7 degrees Aries, presents Retrograde now, lasting from March 14 to April 6. It will be Retrograde again from July 17 to August 10, and November 9 to 29. This is a time to slow down, reevaluate and renegotiate. Typically we hear when Mercury is retrograde we are unsettled, have misdirected communication, changeable plans, plus human and mechanical errors. This can be true, yet it can be the perfect time for a period that is ideal for reflection, analyzing past decisions and generally tidying up unfinished business.  There is no doubt that any planet ‘changing direction’ in this way will change attitudes and ambitions. In the sign of Aries, the beginning of this season brings hope as this Fire Sign is powerful! Clear the cobwebs from your mind of old beliefs, thinking and limitation, and shoot for the stars.

Venus is conjunct the Sun at 4 degrees Aries. You will feel loving and well-loved by others, and have a strong need for kindness, friendship, and affection now. Your artistic and creative powers are lit like a candle, and you will do everything in a harmonious, gracious, pleasing manner. Aesthetics are very important to you at this time. Your personal appearance and attractiveness are also very important to you. Have some fun beautifying yourself and your environment.

Saturn is conjunct the Sun at 23 degrees Pisces. As Saturn continues its transit through Pisces, it lends a serious compassionate nature to our behavior. Although Saturn is the strict teacher, it is showing us the bounty we can receive through casting our Spiritual attention in the right direction. Saturn brings a mature and often somber demeanor. You feel serious, reserved, self-disciplined and highly responsible and conscientious. Through your own confidence and persistence, this energy will carry you closer to your deepest goals and hopes with ease.

Neptune is conjunct the Sun at 29 degrees Pisces. Your personal sense of reality changes dramatically during the course of this transit. You are more sensitive than ever, and you may tap into your devoted nature. There is a strong desire for peace and harmony and perhaps some sense that you have to make sacrifices for that end. Let go of what no longer serves you and clear the decks for your future.

While all of these planets surround the Sun, Pluto at 3 degrees Aquarius sextiles them all. This is a blessing as we are crossing the bridge from the age of Pisces to Aquarius, and Pluto leads the way through first dissolving what limits us, and rebirthing from the ashes of the past. Pluto in Aquarius signals a massive humanitarian revolution — activism like we haven’t seen before in our lifetime — so we can expect an era defined by massive cultural change. Pluto in Aquarius has the power to initiate new government structures, groundbreaking technology and medicine, and social innovation that changes the course of history. Let’s all be part of this change starting with ourselves.

We are beginning a New Year of hopes, dreams and aspirations. Reset your compass and look to the heavens with gratitude and love, as above so below. We are all stardust.

On March 13th at 11:54 PM PST the Moon is Full in Virgo. With the Sun in Pisces exactly opposite it at 23 degrees Pisces 56 minutes we are in the last days of this sign. We have an opportunity to look at what we set out to accomplish when the Moon was New in Virgo, back on September 2nd of last year. With the Eclipse, we have a golden opportunity for transformation.

Back when the Moon was New, the focus was on your body/mind/and spirit. Any and all hopes for improvement depended on how we felt about ourselves, our self esteem and how we operate in the world. Virgo energy is about service in what we do to bring about improvements in our environment. This Mutable Earth sign is adaptable to the world they live in and through their intellect this sign helps us to analyze and use our critical thinking. With Mercury the Messenger leading the way, Virgos are considerate and empathetic. They are very good at caring for the world, conscious about cause and effect, and taking responsibility for their actions. They love nature and the outdoors. The energy is grounded in conservation and practicality.

Now is the time to consider where you are in relation to self care, service to others, health and hygiene, and what you consume from food to information. This Earth sign is grounded in follow through; first is the consideration, then the action. This sign uses its energy sparingly and focused for best results. This Full Lunar Eclipse summons us to turn the dial from low self esteem to high self esteem. To turn the corner from confusion and self destruction to putting ourselves to the top of the pyramid, knowing all else depends on our well being. The way to transformation with this Full Moon is self love.

Four planets are in aspect to this Lunar Eclipse; Mars, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Mars at 18 degrees Cancer sextiles the Moon; together they support a compassionate view of reality, and illicit actions that are positive and helpful. There are so many ways to be of service and this combo brings in a maternal and caring energy.

Saturn at 22 degrees Pisces opposes the Moon. Acceptance and approval from others lead you to seek inclusion in charitable associations or groups. Striking a balance between solitude and active participation will raise your self respect and well being. Because you are so sensitive at this time, it may seem easier for you to withdraw into a shell rather than risk the emotional bumps and bruises that can occur when you let others really know you in an intimate, personal way. Resist this feeling and turn it around by shining your true nature.

The Full Moon is trine Uranus at 24 degrees Taurus. Moon sextile Uranus transit brings stimulating personal encounters and exciting events. Youwill feel more open to change and may actively seek it out. This is an excellent time to try something new in your domestic routine or personal life. A stronger-than-normal intuition can guide you in making quick decisions.

And lastly, Neptune at 29 degrees Pisces opposes the Moon. At this time you may have trouble distinguishing the real from the imagined or illusory. You will not enjoy confrontation and can become very evasive when problems in your personal life arise, escaping into your imagination in order to avoid dealing with them directly. You can also be rather gullible and naive about people now, especially if your sympathy has been aroused. Listening to music can bring you into emotional balance and harmony. Meditating on your life’s purpose and goals can be reviewed and improved upon. This is not the time to set new goals, but to see how far you’ve come with those past goals you set and to see if they work into your current plans or not.

This is the beginning of “Eclipse Season” so strap in and get ready to rumble;)

New Moon in Pisces 2025

On February 27th at 4:44 PM PST the Sun and Moon align at 9 degrees Pisces 40 minutes. I love the timestamp as it is the angel number for me;)

Every New Moon is an opportunity to set a new course for your life. And, with this sign being the last and final sign of the Solar Year, we are tying up endings in our existence. This Mutable Water sign is the most sensitive of all the signs, and due to it being the last in the zodiac, it helps us to be willing to change into the new form set for the new Solar year! This sign is all about what needs attention before rebirth. It is potentially the highest version of humanity, or, the least conscious, escaping responsibility.

In setting goals we are drawn to the Spiritual aspirations in life. With this double Pisces energy we are likely to manifest them more easily. We are also guided to creativity of all kinds, and definitely should be explored. Neptune rules Pisces, the planet of the highest highs and lowest lows. The highs come from a closeness to Spirit, to nature, to animals and birds and all creatures. The lows come from an escapist nature that chooses to look the other way, to procrastinate or neglect their well being. This sign encourages us to look within for answers, to meditate or contemplate what is for our highest good.

On this occasion the Sun and Moon are squared by Jupiter at 12 degrees Gemini.  You will have the ability to see connections between seemingly unrelated ideas or words when Jupiter is in this sign, and to bring them together. You can excel in any field requiring clear intellect, and verbal and communication skills. You may have an insatiable curiosity and may read or watch television constantly in order to satisfy your need for mental stimulation. Your mind never stops with this placement.

When Jupiter squares the Sun you have big aspirations and the desire to succeed in life in a grand way. You tend to exaggerate, to promise more than is possible, and to misjudge through over-optimism. However, you never lose your hopes for the future. Restlessness and discontent with responsibilities and limitations in life can be troublesome for you, so don’t fall into Pisces' trap of making a break for it.

When Jupiter squares the Moon you have a buoyant, cheerful disposition and reach out to others in a warm, open, friendly way. Your emotional generosity and lack of pettiness will lead others to seek you out for help, sympathy, or advice. You are willing to overlook others' faults, but you can sometimes overdo your charitableness.

The goal is to not overextend yourself in your wish to be of service to others. To not scatter your energies to the point of not accomplishing what you have set up for yourself. The thing with Pisces is a lack of clarity due to the openness of this sign. For those born as a Pisces, it is difficult to know where you end and others begin. Other peoples issues and needs can become their problem if they aren’t careful.

The planet Mercury is also in the sign of Pisces now, and is conjunct Saturn in Pisces. This union offers thinking that is serious and deep, and you will rarely offer an opinion on any matter until you have thoroughly considered and studied it. At this time you have excellent powers of concentration and can enjoy studying or thinking deeply in solitude. You’ll have an aptitude for research or doing mental work which requires precise, organized thinking, attention to detail, and a methodical approach. This conjunction makes you more conservative and something of a skeptic, and you may be narrow-minded and closed to new ideas, especially if there is no concrete proof or scientific verification of them. Socially, you may feel rather reserved, uncommunicative, and uncomfortable with light, frivolous conversation.

Use your mind, body and Spirit to come to terms with how to set up your future for yourself, and take the time to do it thoroughly. The new Solar year is almost upon us, with the Vernal Equinox on March 20th when the Sun enters Aries. Let go of what no longer serves you, the past, and process these lessons rather than bring them into the New Year!
