On October 21st at 5:25 AM PDT the Sun and Moon share the same degree; 28 degrees Libra 22 minutes. There are many fortunate aspects to these luminaries and some challenging ones.

Libra is a Cardinal Air Sign. It begins Autumn and is a sign of leadership. It marks a new beginning. The Air quality brings intelligence and mental acuity. In the zodiac it rules the 7th house of marriage, one-to-one relationships, counselors, partnerships, legal matters and open enemies. Now is the time to consider what we want to create with these energies. Look at your relationships; what would fill your heart with joy that you can do to improve these? How can you bring more harmony into your life, as Libra is the sign of balance?

Libra is ruled by the planet Venus, and beauty is very important to this sign. While considering what you wish to improve upon, look at yourself. How can you make yourself, inside and out, more beautiful? Add color, scent, all around you.

The first planet to aspect these luminaries is a square from Jupiter in Cancer. Jupiter exaggerates energies, enlarges them, and here we can take on more responsibility than we can shoulder, believing we can manage. Restlessness and discontent with everyday responsibilities and limitations in life can be troublesome now. Willing to overlook others' faults, sometimes one can overdo their charitableness under this influence. Remember the keyword now is BALANCE.

There is an aspect between these luminaries and Saturn, Uranus and Neptune called a “yod”. It is interpreted to mean the “finger of God” or the “finger of fate”. Saturn at 26 degrees Pisces traveling with Neptune at 0 degrees Aries (4 degrees separate these conjoined planets) quincunx the Sun and Moon. Also, Uranus at 0 degrees Gemini is quincunx the Sun and Moon. This creates an aspect that resembles a long triangle, and the point is the destination for a karmic mission. The finger of fate points to Libra; justice, harmony and new beginnings. We are at a pivotal time in our history, and this aspect seeks to enlighten us to the fact that we are all here together to live our beautiful dream of peace, harmony and love.

The last aspect to the Sun and Moon is Pluto at 1 degree Aquarius. This can bring an intensity of feelings that can make one willful, even fanatical about a belief, or suspicious of others motives and desires. There are powerful magnetic ties between yourself and those you care about, and you could become emotionally obsessed by another person. As always, take the high road, simmer down and observe your emotions, and honor Pluto with deep changes within yourself. It is meant to stir up what feels limiting in order to transform it. So do your part with an honest appraisal.

While Neptune continues its retrograde through Pisces, we are in the final stretch to observe what lies hidden beneath the surface that still triggers us. Go deep, we have until January 22nd, 2026 to continue to purge and reclaim our power before Neptune goes into the sign of Aries.

On October 6th at 8:47 PM PDT we have the first of three SuperMoons! It will appear brighter and larger than usual, traveling in its closest orbit of our Earth. We will be feeling the amplification of this lunation cycle, being driven to take action, gain clarity, and release what no longer serves us.

Aries is a Cardinal Fire sign, the first sign of our zodiac. The Vernal Equinox on March 20th of this year was a moment to begin anew, and make our dreams come true. Then on March 29th the Moon was New in Aries, coinciding with a partial Solar Eclipse. This powerful spark ignited us to act on our convictions and exert our power. Now the Moon is full in Aries, and we can see the results of these aspirations. Aries is a leader with fiery intent. Ruled by Mars, the god of war, this energy pushes us to take action and be courageous. Emotions run hot with this sign if their arrow doesn’t meet their target. In hindsight, did you take action on what you need to do for yourself, or did you miss the bullseye?

This SuperMoon is here to remind us all how powerful we are, especially when we join forces with others. The Sun in Libra is stationed opposite the Full Moon, and it has other plans for us. It’s teaching us to stay balanced, to think of others as well as ourselves. To see both sides of a disagreement and settle it fairly and justly. Where the SuperMoon may be raising the hair on the back of your neck with frustration and misunderstandings, take a step back and harmonize. Take both sides into consideration; your well being and the well being of others. Sometimes we just cannot do it alone and teaming up with others to accomplish goals can be the road less traveled, but one worth taking. Time to develop patience:)

The Sun and Moon have no aspects to them, so I will speak of the other planets involved in this moment. Mercury is stationed at 0 degrees Scorpio, giving us all good mental concentration and the ability to become completely immersed in our work. It is square Pluto in Aquarius at 1 degree, drawing our attention to what lies beneath the “truth” we are seeking while being somewhat suspicious of what we hear. Great time to investigate what may need probing to come to full clarity.

Jupiter at 23 degrees Cancer trines Saturn in its final transit in Pisces at 27 degrees. This beneficial aspect between these two planets brings us a good balance between idealism, optimism, and vision for the future on the one hand, and a realistic sense of what can actually be achieved on the other hand. Your judgment and business senses are quite good under this influence. You will posses patience and the ability to accept limitations and frustration on the way to your goals.

The outer planets; Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all receiving positive aspects from each other, conjunctions, sextiles and trines. Under these conditions, with these planets (all but Saturn) all in the early degrees of their new transits, there is hope for us all! We are being elevated to Air and Fire signs for our future selves to be influenced by. We have traversed many years of Earth and Water planetary transits, more passive and accommodating. Well, not any more! It’s time to jump on a comet and fly ahead, no time to lose.

Consider who you are, maybe who you wished to be before experiencing the hard times we have endured. Shoot for that again, or something even more worthy of your time and energy. And, balance it with love, creativity and nature, and watch your life improve.

On September 22nd, at 11:19 AM PDT the Sun enters the sign of Libra, and Fall has begun! We’ve left behind the Summer months and the cool weather of Autumn is with us. This is a beautiful time of year with the changing colors of the trees, the harvest of our gardens, and the knowledge that we are moving toward our much loved holidays.

Every Equinox and Solstice are like high holidays in Astrology. They represent a new chapter in life, a new beginning. If we take part in the celebration and cast our vision toward the possibilities it provides us, we can change it up and take the next step. For centuries cultures have marked these moments in time with ceremonies and festivals, giving thanks for what has been and blessing what is to come.

Libra is a Cardinal Air sign, ruled by the planet Venus. All Cardinal signs begin seasons, the first month of a new interval of time beginning. These signs are natural leaders, as they lead the seasons. Air signs are intellectual and process information methodically. This particular sign is all about fairness and balance and looks out for the underdog. It is relationship oriented, and many Libras are counselors able to hear both sides of relationships and help to settle the differences. Venus is the planet of Love, Beauty and Harmony, all things that Librans stand for.

This new beginning happens just hours after the New Moon and partial Solar Eclipse, heightening the energies of this Equinox. After closing the door of the “Virgo Portal”, we’ve stepped out of the Earth's energies and grounded approach, into the mental landscape of Libra. The Grand Air Trine is still in effect on the Equinox, between the Sun, Uranus and Pluto. (Refer to the last article) Trines are the most favorable of all aspects, especially a Grand Trine. We are blessed with hope and possibilities.

The Sun in Libra is opposite the planet Saturn in its last couple degrees of Pisces, and Neptune exactly opposite in Aries. The Saturn conjunct Neptune in Aries began in early 2025, with Saturn entering Aries in May 2025.These two planets were very close in late June and July 2025 before Saturn retrograded into Pisces in September. Both will re-enter Aries and reach their exact conjunction in February 2026. This signifies a once-in-a-generation moment that combines Saturn's structure with Neptune's idealism, potentially causing confusion, or bringing clarity to bold new visions and actions. It may require a period of reflection before fully moving forward in February 2026.

We have much to settle in our relationships with each other, and now is the time where we hold space for that to take place. Beginning with a thought, blooming into action, and culminating in love. The way to understand others is by for just a moment, attempting to “walk in their shoes” with all they have lived through. Only then do we have enough compassion and wisdom to change what needs changing and see things differently. The umbrella of love is what we invite others to join us under, for safety and justice for all.
