On November 27th at 1:16 AM PST we have a Full Moon in Gemini. The Sun and Moon oppose each other at 4 degrees 51 minutes; Sun in Sagittarius and Moon in Gemini.

Gemini is a Mutable Air Sign. Mutable as it is the last sign of a season, with it being the final month and changeable; adaptable to the season changing from Spring to Summer. Being an Air Sign, it is all about the mind; communications, learning and knowledge. It is a flexible sign denoting The Twins, and the Air element brings cleverness to the Gemini, unencumbered with the need of stubbornly adhering to old ways. They think on their feet, are lost in their thoughts, and challenged with the goal of bringing those thoughts down to earth.

So this Full Moon, and the Sun are both about beliefs and what one thinks about. Gemini is about what you can see, hear, and facts, while Sagittarius is about faith and rising from our lower nature. It is time to balance these two, to blend the facts with the hope there is more to this life than we know.

The Full Moon is always the outcome of what was hoped for when the Moon was new in Gemini; June 18th of this year. With the Sun and Moon in Gemini there was a lot of communication about the world and how it was affecting us and our loved ones. It was a time of thinking outside the box, coming up with hopeful solutions that could save us all from a world that is in chaos. Our minds were primed with possibilities and the Messenger (Gemini) bringing us Mercurial options. The restlessness of this sign looked in all directions for reasons and solutions to all that is. Now, with the Moon opposite the Sun in Sagittarius we look to higher solutions to the bigger picture. Some might even say that the highest solution would be to see ourselves as the core of life and start with changes within ourselves. That change begins within our hearts and souls.

On this occasion the planet Mars is stationed at 2 degrees Sagittarius, conjoining the Sun and opposing the Moon. Being a fire sign that is volatile and powerful, we see the effect of Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius, presenting us with the promise of greater things. Where we thought we could use our minds to create a solution, now we might need to fight the good fight to bring about change. “Burn it all down” the motto might be, yet it’s like shooting ourselves in the foot and trying to walk. There is much power behind these aspects, but the glimmer of hope comes from our connection with our higher self and how it directs our actions.

Typically when Mars aligns with the Sun we are assertive, energetic, active, courageous, and vital. We have a very strong physical drive which expresses itself as sexuality and passion, a desire to compete with others, and a tendency to fight. We have a victorious spirit and the will to win. When Mars opposes the Moon we are temperamental and impatient and can be very difficult to live with. You may tend to respond with a temper tantrum (overt or subtle) if your desires are frustrated. You can become very irritable and bad tempered if you do not have enough vigorous physical activities or other outlets for your aggressive, feisty spirit. Knowing this and having lived through many Full Moons and its energy, we have a choice here. The choice is how will we behave at this time? We want to be heard, to be understood and open the floodgates of banter to get our message across; or, we wait for Spirit to speak through us the wisdom it provides. Spirit communicates through our heart, and chooses profound verbiage that can be accepted and welcomed rather than starting an argument.

The Sun and Moon both square Saturn at 0 degrees Pisces. This creates a T-Square, and positions Saturn as the way to balance. Saturn in Pisces gives one a sense of longing or homesickness for something you cannot name or specify, and you may have both a great attraction toward, and fear of, mysticism and parapsychology. Overcoming feelings of fear, guilt, anxiety, loneliness, or oversensitivity is an important task for you now. Combining this with what we learned are possibilities of how we will feel on this Full Moon, the answer lies within us, in our hearts and minds. Look higher, look at the bigger picture of who we are and why we are here. Then start that conversation with tolerance and impartiality to lead to higher solutions to whatever is not working in life. We must all do our part to bring our world together, to stop the separation as we are all from the same source. What we long for is “HOME” as in the bigger picture we are but visitors to this planet, here to learn our lessons in ways that can’t be learned at “HOME”. We may struggle with how others treat us, how we treat them, when all we need is love in our lives. Find out where you deny this love and reach for it.

On November 13th at 1:27 AM PST the Sun and Moon conjoin at 20 degrees Scorpio 44 minutes, giving us a New Moon. An opportunity is upon us; a time to set goals and hopes for the future. With the Sun and Moon sharing the 20th degree of Scorpio, we can observe in “The Sabian Symbols” the message; “A woman draws away two dark curtains closing the entrance to a sacred pathway.” Time to look into the deeper mysteries of life, into the rabbit hole of what we haven’t observed yet.

Scorpio is a Fixed Water Sign. This sign is driven to take us under the surface of life, to fearlessly observe what we normally look away from. Being a fixed sign there is a determination and persistence to find what is being sought. And due to the nature of a water sign, we are in the emotional realm. This sign dares us to look at the truth and to do something about it.

So what kind of goal would satisfy this energy? Well, what are you afraid of? I’d begin there. What comes to mind is how some deal with their spirituality. They surround themselves with crystals, relics and images of Angels and refuse to step out into the realm of evil and what they fear. Scorpio tells us there’s more to know here. And because knowledge is power, we can step out of our comfort zone and learn about things we may not want to see. Anything we avoid to learn about can have power over us, keeping us afraid to move forward.

Scorpio rules the 8th house, the house that deals with transformation and death; and what comes next, inheritance. This can be legacies and talents passed down. It also rules shared finances and values. Setting up plans for what is to come in the future, such as investments and important business dealings is a powerful move now.

This sign also relates to sex and intimacy. Many of us have fears here, and we can look down that rabbit hole for answers to the puzzle of why. Scorpio is the sign of psychology and as mentioned, going deep inside for answers. Whether or not you work with a therapist or hypnotherapist, you will have access greater than before to find these answers. I suggest if you are working on this alone, to seek clarity through the Journeys presented on my YouTube or Patreon site, Skypatterns, to find these answers.

At the time of this New Moon, other planets are collaborating with the Sun and Moon; one being Mars at 22 degrees Scorpio. In this sign Mars is extremely passionate and capable of total concentration and tremendous discipline, with a one track mind. Together with these luminaries they oppose Uranus at 21 degrees Taurus. Here we are again looking at what the Eclipse cycle was meaning to teach us; what do we truly value? Intensely restless and dynamic under this influence, when you want something, you want it NOW, and you may act decisively, impulsively, sometimes hastily and prematurely. Impatient, high-strung, and often nervous and tense, you may find it difficult to slow down, pace yourself, or relax. You may have an explosive temper when your will is blocked. You have a superabundance of energy and need much personal freedom to do things in your own style and at your own pace. How to best use this energy would be to act on what is provoking you to anger. Uranus presents sudden changes, possibly in finances or values, that change us. Be unafraid to seek the answers here to bring you more freedom. The Moon asks us to seek emotional freedom, especially if your domestic life is very unstable.

But the gift here is that the Sun, Moon and Mars are all trine Neptune. The Sun inspires your spiritual values to color your whole perspective and approach to life. The Moon makes us very sensitive and where we cannot stand to be in an atmosphere where there is discord or dissonance. Gentle, kind hearted, and peace-loving, you will give or sacrifice much in order to avoid a fight and to "make everyone happy". Mars brings an awareness to dream up creative solutions to problems and take an imaginative, unusual approach to getting a job done. When difficulties arise you prefer to avoid conflict and confrontation in favor of more peaceful or subtle methods of resolving problems.

So on this occasion, go deep. When we eliminate fears through knowledge, and seek answers for our own problems, we can move forward more easily and make our mark on the world. We are all valuable in the awakening process, able to share our stories with others who need help finding answers. Join in on uplifting the awareness of humanity, beginning with YOU.

On October 28th at 1:24 PM PDT we have the Full Moon in Taurus Lunar Eclipse! This concludes the eclipse season that began 11/19/2021. It has been a rocky two years of realizations and deep transformation.

What’s a Lunar Eclipse? A lunar eclipse is an event that occurs when the Earth comes right between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the Moon. It dredges up emotional debris that needs neutralizing in a certain theme of life. With the Taurus/Scorpio axis, it has to do with finances, values, comfort and pleasures. Much has been brought to our attention in these areas, and we have all been through the rock tumbler of life in regards to becoming most efficient in these areas of our life. We’ve been meant to rethink what is most important to us and to decide once and for all how to best navigate our own values.

As always, the Full Moon is the culmination of goals, wishes and dreams cast on the New Moon, this one in Taurus back on May 19th of this year. With the Sun and Moon in that sign we were concerned with our comfort level due to our income, and whether or not it fit our vision of where we want to be. It was Spring with all the hopes for growth and planting seeds for the future. Does your current life demonstrate what you were hoping for, or are you still denying your value to this world. I know that sounds harsh, but to long for something and not make any progress is flat out depressing. Now we have a special event to shake things up a bit here, to bring an “aha” moment to your world view or beliefs about what is your self worth.

On this occasion the players are:

Sun in Scorpio along with Mercury and Mars opposite the Moon in Taurus along with Jupiter. This grand opposition can have a profound impact for growth. The Sun alone in Scorpio makes one quiet, deep, emotionally complex and intensely private. Your feelings and perceptions go deeper than words. Now add to this Mercury in Scorpio, the planet of the mind; you’ll have good mental concentration and the ability to become completely immersed in your work. You’ll seem to know things at an

instinctive, nonverbal level. Bring in Mars in Scorpio you’ll be extremelyorder to pursue your goals and desires strong-willed in passionate dedication and determination.

Now when this collection opposes the Moon in Taurus, we are possibly at cross purposes between our conscious intentions and our desires. Mercury here is concerned with people and their motives, and the past. Mars can inspire impatience and irritability leading to arguments. And with Jupiter alongside the Moon there is a great possibility of exaggeration, over extending oneself and promising more than you can deliver. There is a restless, discontented feeling driving this possibility. Mercury opposite Jupiter in this sign can see the whole picture, but may gloss over the working parts of the process. Mars brings a willingness to take risks due to frustrations in limitation. The wisdom to walk away with here is to know who you are, what is your honest appraisement of your values, and what can you do to improve them. Having clarity is the remedy, to know what is possible and to do everything you can do to usher it in. Making excuses now is counter productive, citing the woes of the world and how it makes you feel is also. Step out of the shadows on this stellar event, and be all that you can be.
